Inside Tip: When to call the Pro & Commercial AV industry

When should I call the factory that made this stupid thing that doesn’t work?

I like India as much as the next guy. I also like the Philippines, El Salvador, and Bangladesh. But when I cannot figure out how to do “port forwarding”… or is it “fort-porwarding” or whatever on this stupid thing, I usually prefer to speak to someone who likes football…or at least knows what a 49er is. Those of us who have a cable box, bad laptop, or a printer know that a quick call to a person that is awake at 3am their time and is not a primary English speaker, beer drinker, football watcher, or Cheetos consumer can be a little frustrating.

The pro and commercial AV industry is just a tad bit different. Most every factory has a staff of folks in house standing by to help. When the phone rings, we are HAPPY!. There are many factories that also forward their support calls to cell phones after hours to support their stupid thing. Still, many people just sit in quiet agony while this stupid thing doesn’t work.

We, as your representatives, WE DEMAND that this stupid thing works. We want to know exactly why the stupid thing doesn’t work, even if it is being operated improperly. WE want your call. The factory WANTS your call. Every factory represented by THE FARM, no matter how huge and awesome they have become, offers domestic technical support. Even factories not represented by THE FARM want to know when the stupid thing doesn’t work. Seriously. For reals. Call a factory today. See what happens. It is not painful, frustrating, upsetting, disturbing or nauseating. It is fun. These people want to hear from you about the stupid thing. They want to know their customers. They went so far as to hire a company (THE FARM) just to make sure your experience is everything it can be.

When the stupid thing doesn’t work, call the factory. Call ‘em even if the stupid thing works!
